Dr. McClanahan Accepts VCHS Foundation Physician Recruitment Gift

We are very excited to be moving to Ord this summer. We are even more excited to purchase our first home! I would like to thank the VCHS Foundation as they assisted us in making this happen.

Myself, and my young family, have invested a tremendous amount of time and money in my education. One of the things we didn't realize would be a problem would be coming up with a down payment and financing a home with my school loans. Most of my friends from medical school and residency are in the same position as we are.

The VCHS Foundation is the only hospital foundation that I'm aware of that provides this for their new physicians. The VCHS Foundation was more than generous in helping us with a down payment for our new home and we are extremely grateful!

I look forward to beginning my medical practice in Ord, NE and being part of this wonderful community.

The Foundation would like to wish Dr. McClanahan the best of luck as he starts his medical practice at VCHS in August 2016!
